Becoming Wolf

"Bring Alive the Wolf in You"

Why do people either love or hate Wolves—why is nobody neutral about them? Wolves are in our blood. We have lived with Wolves ever since we first became Human; and we still do, as the spirit of Wolf lives on in our Dogs. In this workshop, we explore that primal relationship, then bring it back to life.

The inspiration for this workshop comes from the soul journey you can connect with below:

If that inspires you to say farewell to your old self and come run with the Wolf to seek a home for your soul, then please come and join the pack, where we are going to:

  • Live together like Wolves, engaging in their daily rituals and seeing and feeling as they do.
  • Feel the spirit of Wolf by walking in his footsteps in the Wilds and reading his stories.
  • Go back to the beginning, to rediscover how Wolves made us Human.
  • Hear our ancestral stories of how life was when we all lived and ran with Wolf.
  • Spend time with people who have lived with, studied, and rescued Wolves.
  • Learn Wolf language to better communicate with each other and all of Nature.
  • Journey to recall our ancestral memories of the time when Wolf and Human were one.
  • Become Wolf Warriors to help our Brother Wolf again run free and in peace.

Tamarack Song, Lety Seibel, OdeMakwa, Jurjen Annen, Tibbe de Raat, and Michan Biesbroek are your guides to the World of the Wolf.

In 1972, Tamarack rescued from a zoo the last surviving Wolves in Wisconsin, USA.. In honor of that gift, the Wolf family adopted him and taught him the Way of the Wolf. Ever since, he has been sharing the teachings and helping people rekindle their innate love for Wolf, through the Brother Wolf Foundation, a series of books, and workshops. Lety and OdeMakwa have been keeping tabs on their local Wolf families for a number of years. They know the families’ homelands, the fluctuations in their numbers, their mating behaviors, and the other prey and predator animals they coexist with.

"I was surprised about the level of care staff brought to this event. The amount of focus, effort, and soul they put in was evident. They are knowledgeable, encouraging and there to help. Their devotion to tracking is strong, and their combined knowledge is powerful. Their impact on my life is something I carry with the utmost gratitude"

Jurjen Annen

After years of leading excursions, guiding in Spitsbergen, and surviving in Europe’s wildest regions, tI am now passing on my passion and knowledge through Bosbeweging.

What draws me into the forest is the silence. Not the silence around me, but the silence within. Nature is nature, and I am part of it. Simple as that. Returning to the basics allows me to look at my own life from a distance. How can you truly see your own world when you’re standing right in the middle of it?

Tibbe_medium

Tibbe de Raat

Tibbe’s journey through the  deep within the Amazon, where he lived with a traditional family, hunted, fished, and helped build a traditional house. Later, he spent six weeks in the primitive community of Wildroots in the U.S., drinking from the creek, eating bear meat, and building his own shelter.

For Tibbe, these ancestral skills form the foundation for feeling part of nature again. Because who are you, when you walk into the forest with nothing? That’s the question he invites everyone to explore.

Michan Biesbroek

I sometimes say that I learned tracking from my father and ‘forest awareness’ from my mother. In my early childhood, my father showed me tracks in the sand, while my mother pointed out animals in the forest and the dunes. Together, they taught me to become part of nature rather than disturb it. That learning, that ongoing search for how to belong more fully to the natural world, has been at the heart of my life for a long time now, and I don’t think I will ever be done learning..

About Bosbeweging

Schermopname (80)

At Bosbeweging, you learn to survive in an Indigenous way, right in the heart of Dutch nature.

We return to the origins — where skills and intuition come alive, and where our senses and instincts are used to their fullest. Learn how to feel at home in the forest without modern gear. Discover a way of living with nature as your foundation: finding and preparing food in an earth oven, making fire with a bow drill, and tuning your awareness to the rhythm of the woods. The forest is more than a backdrop.

We believe that by taking you into the woods, we can spark wonder, appreciation, and a renewed connection with the natural world. Step out of your comfort zone and learn that everything you need is already provided by nature.
The wilderness lives within you.
